Vivienne Westwood Closing Party
We ride at dawn!
Me and the girlies woke up at 5:30am to drive from Akl to Welly so naturally we started the morning with Macca’s hash browns (BOYCOTT MACCAS but when ur poor and nothing else is open u get a pass x)
Just before arriving in the mighty Waikato we noticed a strange noise and pulled over to see the tyre guard was dragging but don’t worry girls!! I brought nail glue!!
This was an absolute fail and Jenny got nail glue all over her hands (Sorry Jenny!) But heroic Zee sacrificed the band sticker on the back on her phone for a quick fix (Shoutout Backshotz)
A few minutes later the sound came back and we pulled over again but don’t worry girlies!! I have butterfly stickers!!
Only worked for a hot minute and then had to pull into a gas station and buy tape, Zee and Jenny taped the car back together while I took selfies then we were on the road againnn
Arrived in welly that arvo and immediately dolled tf up to get ready for the closing party at Te Papa’s Vivienne Westwood “A Luxe Rebellion” Exhibition
I wore full Sleeping Profit; strapless Halloween corset with puff sleeves and a gathered skirt I made out of an old duvet cover, and Jenny was kind enough to lend me the most incredible necklace which made me feel like a princess
Jenny @zheyi.ruan wore a Vivienne Westwood bridal gown with a beautiful corset by her own label! And ofc she skuxxed tf out of her outfit with accessories
Zee @zeeeweemamaa wore an incredible corset made by Nikirei @nikirreii which I believe is made out of coconut leather?? So cool!!
The night was so fun and we were lucky enough to get chosen for the best dressed contest where they made us strut our stuff in front of everywhere so thank god i’d been chugging wine
Shoutout Jenny and Zee for an incredible day x
